Fused Deposition Modeling 3D Printing
Services

At Celette - 3D Printing Services, we leverage decades of automotive structural expertise to deliver 3D printing services that replace traditional metal components. We do not just print shapes; we engineer high-performance parts using advanced Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) technology and industrial-grade composite materials.

The power of FDM

While there are many 3D printing methods, Celette – 3D Printing Services has specifically chosen Industrial FDM for its unmatched ability to create large-scale, load-bearing parts. Unlike resin-based (SLA) or power-based (SLS) systems which can be brittle or porous, our FDM process uses continuous extrusion of thermoplastic filaments reinforced with carbon fibers.

Key Advantages of our FDM process

Superior Mechanical Strength

FDM creates dense, robust parts capable of withstanding the high-torque and heavy pressure environments of an automotive workshops.

Material Diversity

It is the only technology that allows the use of high-performance engineering plastics like PPS and PPA, which offer chemical and thermal resistance superior to most resins.

Cost-Effective Durability

FDM provides the best balance of speed and structural integrity, making it the ideal choice for "Metal Replacement" strategies.

Rapid Functional Prototyping

Accelerate your R&D cycle. We produce high-fidelity prototypes that do not just look like the final product, they perform like it. With our composite materials, you can conduct real-world mechanical testing, thermal analysis, and fitment checks in days.

Industrial Jigs, Fixtures & Tooling

Capitalizing on Celette’s DNA, we specialize in custom manufacturing aids. Replace heavy steel jigs with carbon-fiber reinforced parts that are 50-70% lighter.

End-Use Production Parts

For small to medium batches, our high-performance polymers serve as viable alternatives to aluminium and steel. Our parts are immune to rust and highly resistant to shop-floor chemicals and oils.

Our core capability lies in the mastery of Composite science. We exclusively work with a curated selection of seven high-performance materials: PC-CF, PA6-CF, PPS-CF, PPA-CF, PETG-CF, PLA-CF and Onyx.

By embedding carbon fibers into a polymer matrix, we create parts with the stiffness of metal and the lightness of plastic. Whether you require the extreme heat resistant of PPS-CF (220°c) or the smooth, vibration-dampening finish of Onyx, our material selection is tuned for industrial survival.

Unrivaled Quality & Precision

At Celette – 3D Printing Services, quality is the cornerstone of our industrial heritage. We apply the same rigorous standards used in our world-reknowned structural repair benches to every project in our manufacturing lab.

  • Expert Engineering Oversight: Every file is audited by our technical team prior to production. We don’t just “hit print”; we optimize internal infill patterns and fiber orientations (Carbon) specifically for the stress loads your part will encounter.
  • Batch Consistency: We utilize industrial-grade FDM hardware to ensure thermal stability and layer adhesion integrity. Whether you order one part or a batch of fifty, we guarantee consistency across the entire production run.
  • Verified Accuracy: Our machines are calibrated to maintain strict industrial tolerances (+/- 0.2mm), ensuring that 3D-printed jigs and structural components integrated perfectly with existing hardware.

Advanced Metrology & Dimensional Control (Upon request)

For high-precision industries such as Aerospace, Robotics, or Energy, we offer comprehensive dimensional validation services to ensure total compliance with your CAD specifications.

Upon request, we provide detailed metrology certificates verifying critical diameters, hole alignments, and geometric tolerances using calibrated measurement tools.

FAQ

Our current material range includes PC-CF, PA6-CF, PPA-CF, PPS-CF, PETG-CF, PLA-CF, Onyx. These materials are selected for functional and engineering applications where strength, stiffness, heat resistance, or lightweight performance may be required.

FDM, or Fused Deposition Modeling, builds parts layer using thermoplastic filament. It is a good choice for functional prototypes, jigs, fixtures, brackets, housings, and end-used parts where strength, weight, heat resistancen, or cost efficiency are important.

Our maximum build volume is 240mm x 200mm x 200mm. For larger parts, please contact us to discuss possible design adjustments, parts splitting, or alternative production options.

For suitable geometries and materials, we can achieve tolerances up to +/-0.2mm. Actual tolerance depends on part size, material, geometry, print orientation, and inspection requirements.

Dimensional reports are available upon request and can be selected during the quotation process. Additional fees may apply depending on the number of dimensions inspected and the level of reporting required.

Yes. If you are unsure about material, infill, layer height, or other printing parameters, our team can review your application and recommend suitable settings based on strength, weight, surface finish, and functional requirements.
